Added guests to DVC???

I added guests to my reservation on the DCV site, I thought that the new guests are not automatically listed on MDE site. However when I check MDE site the new guests were there. Is this suppose to happen?
I also had to add my family to my room for 1 night with a variation of there name so they don't lose the own DVC room. They were also automatically listed on MDE and now the site wants me to match those names with my friends and family list. I can't do that.

I couldn't find a thread with ( Sandisw and CarolynFH) where they gave me some info on adding the guests. I hope they see this post.

You will need to create phantom profiles in your MDE Friends & Family to match the names to. Whenever you modify the names on a DVC reservation that has already been linked to MDE, it gets updated in MDE as well. If the reservation had not already been linked, you would have been asked to match those name variations to someone in your MDE at that point.

I agree with @Marionnette - just create new profiles in your F&F list, using the names you added to your guest list. You'll be "managing" them since they won't have their own MDE accounts. Since they're family, having them listed via variations of their real names might come in handy for future reservations!

Question on MDE still. I have to add 2 children under 18 with a variation of their name and MDE wants their birth dates. Do I use the same dates as on their original reservation.

I have a family member child with two entries with the same birthday, one I control, one I don't. This is CONFUSING when tickets are involved. 10/10 don't recommend.

I suspect that @RoseGold wasn't referring the birth date, but just the fact there are two separate profiles for the same child.

The birth date assigned to them should not be an issue, although is should be their actual birth date.

I’d say to use a birthdate that will give them the same age as the real child, but it doesn’t have to be the same exact date.
