Added a day to VWL ressie - effects on room requests ?

I made a VWL reservation at the 11-month window and noted some room requests (non-smoking/pool or water view). Last week, I add a day onto the beginning of the ressie.

I just received my confirmation and I have a new confirmation number for the entire 5-day stay. My requests are still listed, but the date on the ressie is now 9-17-02. Did I just mess up my chances of getting my room requests?

IMHO you should call MS asking that question. I know from personal experience that
modifications to your request still use the original date on the reservation. If you where given a new confirmation #, did they canceled the first reservation? Please let us know.

I called MS as suggested, and I was told my room requests would be sorted/honored as of the date I modified the reservations.
