Added 2 days - can't book FP

So we added 2 days at a different resort to the beginning of our stay. We are about 20 days out. I went online to make FP's for our 2 new days but it's still showing our later arrival date as the first date to make our FP reservations. Anyone have any ideas on why this is? We added a Disney resort plus park passes for the 2 new days and they are paid for, so seems like we should be able to make FP's at this time.

Have you added the new reservation to the MDE account? Is it reflecting both reservations? Did you increase the number of park tickets to the original stay (say making them a 6 day ticket versus a 4 day ticket) or did you purchase 2 new park ticket days with the new hotel?
You may need to call the internet help desk to get it fixed if MDE isn't updating the hotel reservation & tickets.

If Stay #2 is a "Package," you cannot book FPs for the newly added Stay #1.

Packaged tickets are not active until check-in day of Stay #2 - the MDE FP system does not allow FPs to be booked for the days before Stay #2 actually begins.

You'll need to "early activate" your tickets and book FPs for Stay #1 when you reach your resort.
