Add Wine & Dine to Deluxe for one night?

Hi! I am hoping someone can help with this.

We are doing a split stay with one night at POFQ and four at Saratoga Springs. We will do the quick service dining plan during the latter part of the trip. We are going to do the Deluxe Plan the first night so we can try a couple of restaurants the first 2 days we normally wouldn't (traveling without my son this trip) - planning to do Chefs de France and maybe Coral Reef.

Question - is it worth it to add the Wine and Dine for the one night ($40)? Are the wines on the list worth it, or is it better to check out the wines at the restaurant and pay a bit more for a better bottle? I can't seem to find the wines and price lists (wines not on the wine and dine plan). :confused3

Anyone with experience or opinions, please chime in! Feel free to point me in a different direction as far as TS restaurants go too!

THANKS! :woohoo:

I had looked into this some years ago, and it seemed to me that the wine price was a "wash". It used to be that Disney selected the wine for you - so better check on that. Maybe someone else will post their actual experience.

You are right - it is a wash. Almost anything over $39 is not included. Most of the wines are actually $35! Since we will be at the F&W Festival, we decided not to be tied down to a bottle of wine we may not care for. I'd rather decide when there!
