Add, or Drop?

Please excuse this basic question, but ... I'd like to book a room & ticket package. I'm not sure whether DD will join me. In your opinion, which is easier: book for two now, and drop her if she decides no, or book for myself and add her if/when she decides to join me? I'm probably not going to make ADRs this trip, and she would decide before FP time, so those are not considerations.

I only have experience with room only reservations but, I have added and dropped him. Neither was any trouble. My upcoming trip was the one I dropped him from. I included him on our ADRs (DD's family is also going, in their own room) and then was able to lower the number when he made his decision to not join us.

I’d do room only res, terms are less restrictive than packages. And you can get a better deal on tickets using Undercover Tourist. That way you can buy your ticket, and when you know if DD is coming buy hers.
