Add on with different use year?

Does anybody know if you can do this? We have points at OKW, BCV, and Vero, all with August use years, and were thinking of adding about 50 at HH, but August use year is evidently sold out. Could we add 50 with a different use year? I know it'd be a little tougher to manage, but i think we could handle that part of it.

I have BWV and VB in DEC and HH in Sep BUT I had to buy the HH through resale. Disney will only sell you points for your current use year.... That said I have heard rumor that some folks have managed to convince Disney to sell them an odd use year, but they wouldn't for me. They have me currently waitlisted for DEC in VWL. My suggestion is waitlist for your use year with Disney and call the resale agencies and get them to start looking for an add on for you. I have seen several 50 point HH recently.

Definitely get on the list, there are ofter points that were allotted that come available due to various reasons, esp just after they sell out. The first 45-60 days, expect some to cancel, financing to fall through, some to change mind about number of points, use year or home resort. I also agree with having the resale companies look for resale packages for you. I'm sure I read somewhere that DVC could sell you an add of a different use year if your use year was sold out but can't find it now. DVC will sometimes let resales go through for add ons different that your use year and less than 150 points but I think the risk of them buying it back if much greater, still, no harm done.

I have an Aug. use year @ HH and was put on the wait list. After about 3 weeks my guide called and said HH Aug. points had become available and on 4/30 did an addon. Get on the wait list.

Just hung up the phone with my guide. You can buy different use year, only if you buy a new master contract. All add-ons are same use year.
