Add on small point contract from resale to get 11 Month window

Hello Everyone,
I have been a longtime DVC Member (2010 BLT, 2012 AUL) and a reader of the forums. This has been my go to place to get idea's and information. I was looking through the forum but I have not seen what I am looking for so I hope I am not repeating a previous post.

I was planning to buy a small point contract (50 points max) at BWV from the resale market with the intention to get the 11 month booking window. My question is can I book a 10 day stay at BWV at the 11 month period staring with the 50 points and then use my remaining points (360) to book the trip at the same time? Or do I only get 11 month booking for 50 points and then I need to come back at the 6 month window to book the remaining stay? I hope this makes sense.

You can only book at 11 months with the points that go with that contract.

Bummer, so the best I can get is one night at a 2bdr villa at the 11 month window and cross my fingers that I can get the remaining nights at the 6 month window. Thank you for clarification.

It's actually 7 months, not 6 months. So if you have 50 BWV points and 360 at some other resort, you can make up to a 50 point reservation at BWV 11 months out, and you can use the remainder of your points to book at BWV 7 months out.

BWV only has lock offs and often 2 bedrooms are not available because the studio sections are gone. BWV owner here, and have been disappointed many times!
