I have two 150 point contracts bought through resale, VWL and BCV. If I were to do an add-on through Disney would I have a problem since I don't have 160 points at any one place?
Seperate question, does anyone just use transferring to supplement their point totals? Does it make financial sense? Or just bite the bullet and do an add on.
Who does ther add-ons through resale?

you can buy directly from DVC for as few as 25 points. There are no closing fees for add-ons. Add-ons MUST have the same UY as the contract you are adding on to.
You can also buy more points through resale, but it would be another master contract and you would have associated closing costs. Most people look at the total resale price to determine whether to add-on resale or through DVC. If it is a small number of points, buying from DVC sometimes works out to be just about as cheap b/c there are no closing costs. For larger amounts, resale comes out less.
I think DVC has a new rule that a DVC contract an only have 1 transfer in/out each year--thus you will likely find less people wiling to do points transfers, esp in smaller amounts. We have a small contract and are going to ad 50 points through dVC next year.
