Add-on questions for the clueless...

I am a current DVC member owning in SSR & AKV. My absolute favorite resort is BWV. I didn't buy into the BWV because I am only 21 & those extra years with SSR & AKV are really important to me, but I really want home resort priority in BWV. I just added on AKV points but that was 200 points. So my questions are about adding-on smaller "contracts".

Can I add on points in BWV thru disney?

How many points is the minimum, 25 or 50?

Around how much would this cost? Do they sell them at the going rate of new DVC resorts or will it cost me more?

How does this process work? Something about waitlist?

If I add on only say 25 points, will I be able to still book a stay 11 months out even though I'll have to use some of my SSR/AKV points? I only ask this one because booking my AKV stay confused me. I could only use my AKV points at AKV. I was not allowed to use my SSR points at AKV for the fall. Is this always the case or is it because of the shortage of AKV rooms? I'm confused.

You will only have the 11 month window for the amount of points you have at that resort if you have 25 BWV points you can only book 25 points worth of nights at the 11 month window you can use any points at the 7 month window. You can buy a min of 25 points at any resort you can buy them through Disney you may be on a waitlist depending on your use year and the price? I am sure that will get answered but they are less than the current price but there are no incentives I know they are going up TOMORROW june 5 so if you want them you should call today it will save you a few dollars
