I own 50pts at VWL and 75pts at BWV bought resale of course. Can I buy a 25 add-on through Disney anywhere I can find availability or am I restricted to SSR and the places I already own. I'd like to buy at OKW in 25pts at a time. Is this feasible? Any word on OKW waitlist?

You can buy 25 pts whereever you want. The only restriction is that you have to buy the points in the same use-year as one of your other contracts. As for the waitlist at OKW, I don't think there is one, you should be able to add-on at OKW immediately. I could be wrong, but I believe BCV is the only one with a waitlist (or a long waitlist at least).

I'm sure there won't be any OKW waitlist.

However, the thing you have to understand about small contracts at different resorts is you only have the 11-month window for the number of points you have available at that particular resort.

OTOH, if you only go to OKW every third year, you could parlay your 25 points into a 75 point stay with banked and borrowed points.

Are there closing costs or any other hidden costs when adding on through Disney?

There are no closing costs for purchases direct thru Disney. The rate will be $92 per point for any resort except SSR.

No wait at OKW... how are the lists at each of the other resorts?

The only one you'll probably have trouble with is BCV, there is probably availability at all the others.

Thanks vascubaguy- That's good news!
Do you know if certain use years are more difficult to acquire? We have an April use year (or will soon...we're in closing). My strategy is to pay cash on smaller points packages and build our points as our kids grow;they are ages 4 & 6. That will leave us the option of selling points as our needs change when they are older.
