We are considering the purchase of additional DVC points. The best value seems to be resale and Vero Beach. Is anyone aware of the problems that can come from owning point from two resorts? We try to use our points for a Disney cruise and a short stay at WDW. Thank you in advance for any advise regarding this matter. Dan

The only problems may come if you use your 11 month home resort advantage a lot. The points for VB could be used at VB only during the 11 month window, not combined with those from you current resort points for booking at your home resort until 7 months out. This is true of any secondary resort you may buy.

keep in mind that while VB may have a lower purchase price, historically that resort has always had the highest maintenance fees. Over time the maintenance fees will eat into the savings you made on the original purchase, so be sure to factor that into your equation.
