Add on e-mail - another price increase is acomin'!

The still have around 370,000 points to sell and at the current rate it going to take almost 2 years to completly sell out.
But that 370K is a small fraction of total BLT points. The resort has, for all intents and purposes, closed out, because Mickey has already made his money back. The rest is just gravy, and there is now time pressure to bottle it. May as well milk it for all it is worth. Plus, it will be useful for DVC to still have a Monorail Resort to sell until the Grand is ready to rock.

I can't imagine buying GFV due to the price point. I'm not even sure we'd be able to stay there given the high points per stay that I'm sure they will have. The Grand isn't our first choice decor, but I'm really interested to see what the villas will look like!
If we had plenty of points, I'd try staying there, but wouldn't buy.

If people weren't buying, they wouldn't be raising the prices. Just like park tickets.

So, what price range do you think they are shooting for when Grand Flo goes on sale? I was guessing around $175 pp. Could you imagine 35K for 200 points? And that still probably won't get you a week there.

I totally agree! I don't know whats wrong with people. and park tickets! I have 3 days left on my park hopper ( no ex), and good thing I bought it 5 yrs ago! Until those prices come down, I'll be going to Universal, Lego land and seaworld.
friends were going to buy points and we told tham they were nuts! told them to buy resale ones from one of the companies Mousesavers and some other places suggest. I would never by points from Disney now! Not in this market.
