If you buy direct from Disney, they help you make the first reservation.

If you add on direct from Disney, do they help you make a reservation? I'm wondering if they could help if the type of unit you wanted was not available for the dates you needed. (Maybe they could pull from the maintenance list or something.)

I know that it's cheaper to buy resale, so I don't need advice about that.

It has been reported here that MS has helped people get a reservation with their just bought DVC points. I hope you can get what you need!

You would have to ask your guide- part of it would depend on what knid of unit you want- some of them may not even have any units from maintenance at the time you want. It also may depend on how many points you want to buy.

It's your Guide that can help you with the reservation, not MS.

If you tell your Guide that the sale is dependent on getting the reservation, you my get what you want.
