Add on at current or New resort?

Being a short time member of this board, but a long time observer, I find myself posting twice tonite!

Have been looking to add on to our ownership at the BWV for some time, but always just considered. Now as our family grows and we enjoy sharing our travels with other family members we WANT to add.

The point: We are on a waiting list to add to our ownership by way of resale at our current resort, BWV. We have recently passed on 150pts. because they were not our use year. We are looking for advice on whether to wait and add on to our Home resort in our use year or agree to a different one. OR to wait and but at the BCV when available and keep the same use year.

If your question is whether there is something wrong with having two different use years, there is not. We have two. It simply takes a little more effort to keep track as you need to comply with banking dates for both years. Also, when reserving and using both years' points you need to get some nights with one use year's points and the other nights with the other use year's points. Otherwise, it really does not matter that you have different use years.
