Add on AKV or Purchase BWV?

We currently own all of our points at AKV (Oct UY), but love staying at BWV. We travel in June and October every year (used to be May and October until my daughter started school). I'm debating if we should add points at AKV or purchase BWV with an October use year. I will need to purchase less points by going with AKV, but not sure about the chances of getting a 1 bedroom at BWV in October each year at the 7 month mark that's why I'm thinking of purchasing BWV points with an October UY. I've been looking at resale for a few months and don't see BWV/Oct for the amount of points we need often and when I do see them, it's after they have sold. I stalk the resale websites everyday, but I have had no luck in my search for BWV/Oct.

At 7 months? Not necessarily great, although I've not fiercely tracked it. While 1BR are last to go, the issue becomes people backing into 1BRs because the studios are gone before 9 months, and then a bit of a crush at 7 months.

If you're not looking to merge the points save as an exception case and don't mind balancing the management of the points, you could do a different UY.

We did the opposite. Started with BWV for October for Food and Wine. We really enjoyed AKL and added that for April/May for the Flower and Garden show.
There are good arguments for keeping the same UY. We have different UY and its not too big of a problem to keep track of them. A single UY would be easier.

We own AUG UY at BWV and fine that works well for fall bookings. We also have APR, AUG and DEC UYs and don't find multiple UYs hard to manage.
