Add days to a no expiration ticket

On the last day of our vacation last October, we quickly decided as we were leaving WDW for the last time to add the no expiration option to our tickets as we had 3 days left and knew we would be back again the following year. We were in quite a hurry and I didn't think to confirm what I was thinking I could do at DTD guest services which was to add more days to the 3 remaining when we returned on the next trip. I certainly knew 3 days would not be enough for us on our next trip but thought I could save the 3 days we did have left by paying the upgrade to no expiration, then add more days. Well, once home and got back to reading all things Disney, I quickly learned I was wrong. So wondering if anyone has any advise? Any chance pixie dust might allow me to add days when we return in September? Is it worth asking? If not, do you think they would refund me the cost of the no expiration add on and then I would buy a 5 or 7 day ticket?

I believe you have to make any additions (days, hopper, no expiration, water park etc) within 14 days of first use of the ticket. So no, I don't think you can add days to the existing tickets. I also don't see them refunding your no expiration addition. I would probably hang on to the NE tickets in case you take a short trip in the future. Just an FYI if you went in October and are going again in sept an annual pass would have probably been your best option. Something to keep in mind for the future

I think you are out of luck unfortunately. Like the pp said I would save those for another trip at this point.

How many days were the original tickets for?

Unfortunately, as other posters have stated, you are out of luck. I can confirm that you have 14 days from the first use of a ticket to make any modifications to it (and you must have days remaining in your ticket).

Disney will not refund anything on your ticket at all. They also won't apply it to the purchase of a different ticket. There's nothing you can do with the tickets other than use the remaining 3 days on them. It sucks, but Disney is very firm about their ticketing rules and they won't waive them like they might with other things.

I would hold onto them and plan a 3 day weekend trip or something to use them. You would have been better off with an Annual Pass since you wanted to go on two trips in a 1 year period though.
