Add child to current package

Currently I have a myself only in a room with a Costco package. If I add 1 child (under 10), can I just buy a ticket and make the park reservations without "officially" changing my package? The child's parents will be coming later in the trip but if I bring the child with me they would be able to enjoy the parks for more days. If I bought them a ticket for the same amount of days that I have with the same starting date, could I make them the same park reservations as I currently have and when the parents show up just hand them back over to them at their resort.

Yes, no problem but make sure to register the child at the front desk of your hotel so that he/she is eligible for early park entry, using the pool etc. (some hotels need access to the pool). Tell them the day the child will be changing resorts. You can make the child the same park reservations you have, assuming availability.
