Add a Dining Plan- Passholder

Hi everyone! I am an Annual Passholder, and I already have a resort booked for my upcoming trip in June. Is there a way to add a dining plan without booking a full vacation package? (I don't need tickets since I'm an AP, and the room is already booked). I didn't see an option to add a dining plan when I booked the room.

You can add a dining plan by calling for a Ticketless Package.

The very act of adding DDP makes it a package.

If you were booking the spring promo you can add dining when you book the room right on the website

For some reason that option isn't there with the summer promo. You'll have to call to add it

And it must be a package to add dining. Impossible to be room only with the dining plan. It will have the 30 day cancellation that comes with a package, not 5 day

And just add to this, also a new $200 deposit will have to be paid and get the room only deposit credited back.

I added the DxDP 6 days before my current trip (here now). The 1st CM didn't know how to make an AP room only ressie into a ticketless package and wanted to charge me rack rate and well over $1000 more than what it should've been. I called back and got a wonderful CM who was very knowledgable and was able to add the DxDP for a package and then cancel my origional room only reservation keeping the AP rate.

Just wondering, did you have to pay the full deposit, and then get a refund for the RO reservation, or were they able to apply the deposit for the RO reservation towards the package?

I actually had to pay the entire package price since it was so close to our travel date, but because I paid with my Disney Visa, I can pay it off over 6 months. But the money I paid into my room only was refunded back to my card after the CM was able to add the DXDp to my room only ressie.
