Adam the Woo Banned from Universal

That's why there are lurkers on all of these Disney forums as well. If you don't believe it, look at some of the changes that get made. Some of the topics that get brought up are things that get addressed in the parks. Are these official forums for Disney? Nope. Does Disney send their people here to investigate? You'd better believe it.

The best example I have of this is a situation with a CM. They were on a board talking about a certain situation that got them fired and they went back to HR to talk to them and the person in HR brought up the whole thread from that particular board and forum. The CM came back on then and informed everyone of that.

Granted, we know there are insiders on here as well, but there's people further up the chain too. So yeah, Disney and Uni know these places exist. Who needs a survey to find out the issues when you have discussion boards full of it!

I mean, we all jump in on the threads about price increases for this and that, and then it happens? Come on, that's not forum magic... that's the lurkers pulling priceless data!

It's my understanding the major parks have regular 'readers' = Smart business practice

:scratchin Thanks for the clarification...still makes zero sense to me.

I know it's vague, but I just wanted to say he was given the nickname years ago. I don't know what a "Woo" is either in the context. He didn't really explain it.

This person isn't a clueless kid goofing around. Stated here he has been around the block long enough to need prior legal representation for his efforts. He seems sharp enough to know the drill by now with which he has to operate: be legit and don't violate laws as to proprietary information.

Which is exactly what he's been doing for the past several years. He's put all that in the past and, because of him not violating laws and respecting properties, he's been unbanned from WDW. Which is why he probably is surprised this is happening now rather than back then, as these videos he posted of him being on Universal property were years ago. Also, in certain circumstances he was escorted by an employee, so he wasn't entirely alone and trespassing.

I dot know why that showed me as saying that. Not that I disagree but you pulled something I quoted out as me saying it.

I keep seeing this everywhere, are we supposed to really feel sad about this? Wasn't he trespassing and isn't he unbanned now?

It's all good. I thought "wow, I must have had a good night last night!" Sure didn't remember typing that lucid response lol

Sorry for the lousy editing. Oops. Haha.

I don't know about others, but I'm not really feeling sad about it. Just questioning on why the Universal team is after him after this happening over five years ago and/or if their intention was to try to ban him this whole time (meaning this wasn't a recent intention), it questions their security methods in my personal opinion. If Adam is considered at risk enough to ban him why did it take them so long to do so? Because in the case that someone actually was genuinely dangerous was trying to enter the park, they clearly show signs that they would drop the ball in stopping them enter, or locating them.

I have no bad feelings toward Adam myself, but I believe the negativity some may see on the various forums is two fold:

1 -- He broke rules. Nobody likes seeing people who think the rules don't apply to them.

and

2 -- He's a Full time vlogger..

For me, it's not just that he breaks laws, but that the laws he breaks aren't victimless. Personally, I don't think a ban is overkill. What if Adam vlogged from a defunct church/synagogue/mosque where your family had worshipped? What if your town couldn't afford a needed firefighter because it had to pay to secure an abandoned water tower a vlogger made popular? What if your own son or daughter was trespassing to vlog?

Disney lifted its ban, and a month later Adam's reportedly back in the parks and yelling at Universal press events. That may have led Universal to ban him now rather than wait for further provocation.

Adam is a really nice guy. So he went back stage years years ago. Nobody got hurt over it people. A lot of hate in this forum.

Let's say you discover a video on Youtube of someone breaking into your house years ago when you weren't home. Nothing was stolen, but he just did it for fun. You come home the next day and the same guy is hanging out around your house. Would it make you a hateful person if you asked him to leave and/or called the police? Would people who supported your decision to make him leave be haters?
