I've just been listening to some of their hits on CD.

I had a thing for Adam with his white stripe and even liked their outfits - LOL!

Stand & Deliver, Prince Charming, King of the Wild Frontier, to name a few...

Did you like them, buy any of their records?

Adam was so cool! I didn't own their album, but later Goody Two Shoes was on a cassette I had and I about wore that cassette out just listening to that song.

I loved Adam Ant! I never did have any of his albums, but did have the videos for Stand and Deliver and Goody 2 Shoes (taped them from Friday Night Videos.) I also had his performance on SNL taped -- great episode hosted by Robin Williams.

Funny, the first thing I thought of when I read the first post was "Don't drink don't smoke...." too!
Ah, the long lost 80's! I loved Adam and the Ants. If I ever dig to the bottom of my record (remember records?) collection, I probably still have all their albums on vinyl.
They were one of the first bands of the MTV era, so we got to watch them do all sorts of fun things on video along with the songs. I'm remembering something about peeking in a keyhole maybe?

Sadly, the years have not been kind to poor Adam.

I don't remember seeing any videos of them as they were always appearing on TV, especially (BBC1) Top of the Pops.

Ah, yes! LOVED Adam & The Ants. Always the favorite for my friends and I at the junior high dances - we'd just go crazy for anything Adam. My older sister had the hots for him, too. Mmmm... he was really something back in the day. Still have a vinyl album or two.
