I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new color scheme! It's PERFECT! The wedding band also matches your colors- LOVE IT! The cala lillies are lovely and I don't think there will be much of an upgrade for the type of bouquet you want. I love the dark pink color, I'm not sure if I would like the stephanotis with the dark pink cala lilly or not... I love that pic but am having trouble picturing it in pink and white... can someone photoshop the picture to have pink cala lillies so I can make an educated decision

Personally, I'm an orchid girl but all you other Disbrides with your calla lilies are making me rather fond of them! Those deep pink ones are stunning! I truly think having the white stephanotis in your bouquet would look perfect. I also think some white in a colored bouquet looks elegant and makes the color that is in your bouquet really stand out that much more. I don't want to say the white would frame it, since that's not quite right... but um, you know what I mean? Hehe.

I am the same way with the stephanotis... the white bouquet is sooooo pretty but i'm just having a hard time invisioning it with the deep pink ones!

OMG you're geniouse!!!! I LOOOOVE that bouquet! Now you've got me all kinds of confused!

But I do know what you mean about the white in a bouquet really making the color stand out... I wasn't sure if the stephanotis or maybe white roses would look better. It was just me wanting to be different and use the stephanotis.... but that bouquet is awesome! It's exactly what i'm going for!

Ok in the last 45 seconds of typing I just realized that i answered my own quetion.... the bouquet you posted is what i want!!!!

teeny, tiny, little update....


Since my AMAZING DAuntie is a DVC member she wanted to let us use her points for our honeymoon. I was so excited because we love staying in DVC resorts. I do however feel bad about how many of her points we'll be using So in an attempt to use less of her points DF and I decided that the actual weekend of the wedding we'll rent DVC points like we did last year. Then for the honeymoon part use her points. (I think i may have touched on this subject before in my PJ but just a little refresher!) Anywho keeping with a split stay (which is something i've alway wanted to do) we were looking at where we'd want to stay for the wedding weekend. DF thinks we should go "all out" and stay where ever no matter how many points we need to rent. So i said to him "ok, thats easy enough... I wat BLT!" I showed him the pictures of the studio model and at first he was like "umm... ok really futuristic" but after explaining the history of the CR and showing him somemore pictures he got on board.

I think our back-up is going to be VWL but i'm really hoping for BLT (god everytime i type that i think of bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwiches and get hungrey! )

Oh and I got my first two responses from my wedding email... one was a phone call from the sister i knew was going anyway and the other was an email from my aunt who i knew was already going. I really wish DF's family would freakin email me!

I really hope we are able to rent points that weekend... fingers crossed and pixie dust!!! I'm wondering if i should post something on the DVC rental board now asking if someone would be able to book it for us at the 11 month mark. That might be alittle much... maybe i'll wait until october hahaha!

Thanks for in input Sam. I'm really glad ghoulish delight found that for me! I agree that the calla lilies might be too heavy so this should be not only more beautiful but better weight-wise!

Ok girls....

since you all were so helpful with picking out my bouquet... what should the BM's have?


These are the options i'm throwing around in my head

1.) pink rose wand - concerns: will it look good against the darker blue color
2.) white rose wand - concerns: i'll be the only one with the accent color
3.)Rose wand with a white rose and handle with Pink ribbon around the rose. Conerns: possibly too busy

Things to keep in mind:
I definatly want chair covers and sashes.... i think it looks so lovely! So the chair covers will be white and the sashes alternating the blue and pink (very sleeping beauty! ) and then we'll have Pink rose petals scattered down the aisle. What do you girls think will look the best?

(seriously i'm just going to hand this PJ to my WC and tell her to do everything my DISgirls suggested! )

Well its friday!

I got confirmation that everyone i sent the wedding email to, read it.... but still the only two people who responded was my aunt and sister. I spoke to DF about it last night and I asked him why none of his family members had emailed us back and apparently his mother (shes such a prize) thinks that this is all a phase that I am going through (notice that she only thinks this is my idea) and that if they all make it hard enough we'll throw in the towel and say fine we'll have it here.

I was going to get mad but then i said to myself... ya know what... this isn't just what i want.. Adam wants it too.. it was his freakin idea! and who is going to look bad when its all said and done? So instead of getting upset i emailed Randy and we're all set for 10/2/2010 @ 10:00am! I'm going to stick with what we decided... they all had until today to let us know. Now its up to them... if they come they come... if they dont they dont... what else can i say or do? I'm just going to keep planning and focus on the positive!

FMIL actually called DF and asked him how Buying Plane tickets work. (yes shes lived under a rock) She had all kinds of questions and then ended the conversation with "So will they refund my money if for some reason i can't go? Because I don't want to loose money because of this." Shes a peach but hey atleast shes asking questions!

Do you have any suggestions on the BM flower dilemma Mandy? I know you're have Color problems too!

I think maybe go with white and pink...more white than pink. It's kinda like when a bride does white and the girls get colors...but the opposite!!
Or just white with matching ribbon

i think the bm having white flowers w/ pink ribbon would look classy..then with you being the only one with colored flowers your willl really pop
but the ribbon will still tie everything in

id be frustrated too if nobody got back to me but just let them do their thing, you are doing what you want and thats whats important in the end!!
