Ad Agency's dream!!

That would be my DD7! She really has a thing for commercials and ads. She's not obsessed with them, just remembers them! It goes for all catagories, not just kids stuff. You can't remember a commercial, just ask her! Too bad they don't have focus groups for 7 year olds, she could rake in the bucks on surveys! You ask her a product and she knows the tag line!

Yesterday I bought some Oil of Olay Body Wash at Costco. She was so excited hor me! She tells me, "Mom, you'll have softer skin in JUST 7 DAYS!!" The other day we were driving down the street and she notices 3 gas stations on street corners. She says, " doesn't that take competition away from each other having those 3 gas stations there?"

She doesn't really watch alot of TV, just really picks up on these. She likes magazine ads and billboards too!
Anyone else have a child like this?

LOL - It's too bad you live so far away, because I have her perfect match - my 7ds!! We refer to him as the "king of commercials and infommercials". He is like a walking commercial for everything. He can repeat the tag lines, too!

His recent favorite is the bed (temperpedic?) where the woman is jumping on the bed with the glass of water on it. He keeps telling me I need it so I don't bother dh when I'm on the bed. Ummmmmm????????? What does THAT mean??? LOL Oh, and he's convinced I need those knives because if I "act now, for just 29.99, they'll throw in........"

I used to be like that. i'd walk around singing the songs and stuff. I don't watch commercials anymore, I flip to a different channel

Add my DD! She is almost 6 and will suddenly start spouting some tag line from a commercial. Last year she wanted to go to Kiddie Land and proceeded to tell us,

"But Mom, its close by, just around the corner in Melrose Park!"
