We are heading down in a couple weeks, we were just there in December so we aren't doing Disney other than blizzard beach one day. We have APs for universal so we will spend a couple days there. Thinking of just making this a RELAXING trip and have a couple pool days. Anyone have any suggestions for non park activities? We already plan to hit old Town for the car show and head over to the boardwalk to see illuminations.

Check out Groupon & Living Social for some great off-site activity ideas and savings. Right now Groupon has both Gator Golf & Kissimmee Go-Karts as deals. LivingSocial has the Dolphin/manatee tours as well as Kissimme Go-Karts.

For a free day, have you considered heading to the beach for the day? We will be heading over to Clearwater for a day or two during our upcoming vacation in addition to some deals that we picked up (and we are even PAP holders @ WDW!)

We had a great time on our Christmas trip on an airboat ride. We booked through Wild Willy's Airboats in St. Cloud and it was soooo much fun :thumbsup2 . An awesome relaxing afternoon that turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We paired it with a morning at Gatorland and it was a perfect accompaniment. You can check out the photos and write up from our "gator day" in my trip report (see the link in my signature).

We are visiting Showcase of Citrus in August on one of our "down days". There's currently a Groupon offer running which gives you half price admission on their Monster Truck ride through the orange groves, and a separate offer that give you a $20 voucher for $10 that you can use on food and gifts at their orchard store.

Mini golf is fun. Mighty Jungle in Kissimmee is offering unlimited mini golf for two plus ice cream for $12:

We have also golfed at Congo River, Pirates Cove, Hawaiian Rumble, Gator Golf, and Volcano Island. Various discounts and offers can be found at each.

Other places we have enjoyed are the Titanic exhibit, the outlet malls, and the Florida Mall (love the M&M store!).

if you are staying in a timeshare, condo or even some hotels - ask for an activity list - FIRST.

Where is the Florida mall? I've only ever seen the outlets

Westgate charges you - I think $30 per unit - they have miniature golf. bpats and several other things that I don't remember.

no free internet - and the connection to your room is pretty bad. would go to their office if you really need to use your computer.
