We will be taking a short trip to WDW for an extended weekend in February with our 23 month old DD. We are staying at the AKL, but do not want to do the parks this time (we have a week long vacation to WDW planned later in the year). We picked the AKL because of all of the activities that will keep the little one happy/busy and the pool. We are planning to try to watch Wishes and water parade from the Poly beach, as well as ride the monorail as many times as she wants. I am looking for other suggestions on things to do with a toddler outside of the parks. She is not big on sitting more than 30 minutes for a meal, so we are going to wait on the character meal until the fall trip. Any activities at the other resorts, DD, or boardwalk that would be of interest to her? We will have a car, so transportation will not be an issue. Thanks for the help!
This might be a nice time to go for a ride on the monorail and the ferry boats. Since you have a car, you could park at the TTC and ride the big ferry and if you go against the crowds you could probably score a nice ride in the front of the monorail.
