My sister is going on our cruise with us and she is 18. What kind of activities will there be for people in her age group? If any?

There is a group 18-20 that meets up, Listed in the navigator.

Worth also joining a cruise meets thread for your cruise to see if there are any other cruisers of that age on and to arrange a meet up.

There is the standard stuff, bingo, movies, classes, on cookery and mixology, Palo and Spa and Gym.

She definitely need to go to the 18*21 club meeting the first night. The first night is when they make their plans for what all they are going to do during the cruise.

Also, people 18-20 years old are allows into all "adult-only" areas. Although you have to be 21 to be served or consume alcohol, those 18-20 can still go into all bars and nightclubs that are off-limits to children. I have seen a few groups of young adults in the nightclub late at night, enjoying the music, soft drinks, and each others' company.

DD18 just finished cruising with us on the Fantasy. She is pretty reserved, but went to the 1820 group for several activities and enjoyed them. She also enjoyed hanging out with the parents at the adult pool. She had a great time and said she would love to go again.

My DD was 18 on our last cruise. She went to the 18-21 meet on the first night. Met a couple of people that she hung out with, mostly in the evenings. The 18-21 group mostly had a lunch each day and met up at one of the nightclubs each night.
She also really enjoyed being able to go to the adults only areas.

We brought my 18 yr old sister in law with us on three cruises, and she wanted to stick with us. We went to the Cove a lot, where she got coffee and enjoyed the adult's only pool. She loved Serenity Bay (the beach only for adults at CC). She had fun in the clubs as well. It's been four years since she has gone, and she talks constantly about going again, so no worries on your sister having fun lol.

I'm gad she will be able to go in the Adults areas. I don't see my family much because I had to move away. So it will be nice to know that we might end up meeting up with her and her new friends in the clubs at night. I am 25 so thats probably where I'll be a lot of the nights.

Our 18-year-old son enjoyed being allowed into the adult-only areas for the first time (e.g. pool and hot tub), as well as accompanying us to Palo and Remy.

He did not go to the 18-21 year old gathering; somehow we missed that. I'll have to remind him to go to that on our next cruise (when he'll be 20, probably).
