We're spending a week in Orlando (at a timeshare close to Disney) and will be spending time at WDW mostly everyday during that time. We're also season pass holders and will be doing lots of day trips (we live about an hour away) during the year. What are some fun activities at the resorts, that are open to non-resort guests? Also, do you need to show proof that you have a WDW ticket? Thanks! :)

I think most activities (except the pools) are open to anyone visiting the resort.

You probably already know that swimming in the pools is not allowed. But practically everything else is. Disney wants you to enjoy their resorts because if you have fun doing something at one resort, you just might book a stay there in the future.

We have never been asked to show any proof of staying at a Disney resort (we stay off site) or that we have admission to a park. Just stay away from getting wet in the pools and hot tubs and you'll be fine.
