Activia probiotic yogurt at Disney resort shops?

Can anyone verify if any of the Disney resort shops carry Activia probiotic yogurt. We are staying at POP Century - not sure if they have it in the refrigerated section of their gift shop, but we could travel to any resort to purchase some. If not, I'm thinking we could take a taxi to a grocery store to get some. My DBF has Crohn's Disease and feels that eating this specific yogurt helps a wee tiny bit and doesn't want to give up his regimen while we're there.

I can't say I've ever paid attention as to whether they carry that or not, but you can order groceries through gardengrocer.com or wegoshop.com. Personally I love Marge at wegoshop! She'll shop at whichever store you need and takes coupons! It would be worth it if you need other things, taxis are expensive!

I agree with the previous poster, I also use Marge at WeGoShop.com to have items delivered & she is GREAT !!!! I also eat Activia ProBiotic yogurt,love that stuff, just go to Marge's website & she will get you fixed up, here is the website....

I remember seeing yogurt at POP in January, but not Activia. That was in the food court cooler area, I wouldn't bank on it to be safe if this is a must have for you. You can try and ask for a fridge for medical reasons at POP since it is due to Crohns and this makes it better. Call and ask a CM abiut the fridge, that way you could get it delivered from one of the online grocers and have it on hand.

I also have Crohn's and eat the Activia. We stayed at POP in January and they did not have it then. There are probiotic supplements he can get to take if can't get the yogurt but getting them through healthy diet is better.

I was just reading your post and I thought I would reply. I hope this is not off topic but my partner suffers from Ulcerative Colitis and this condition used to have a seriously restrictive effect on our Disney vacations - everything had to be planned around the restroom and it put a real strain on our relationship.

My partner has seen specialist after specialist and they have yet to come up with a solution. With my partner's quality of life getting less and less I decided to do some research. I read some really good things about a probiotic called VSL#3. So I bought some as I am willing to try anything to help her. This product is in small individual sachets containing a powder, and as I understand it is the strongest probiotic you can get. It needs to be kept refrigerated as it is a "live" baterial product. All you need to do it take one a day and mix it in with a cold drink/soda.

It is no exageration but this has changed her life. We can now have long walks in the country without worrying about the next restroom break. I know this is begining to sound like I work for this company, I don't - but this product has had a significant effect on my partner and after 3 years she feels "normal" again.

Now I know chrones is different from colitis but a quick google search suggests that it can help that condition as well. To be honest Activia/Yakult did not seem to do much for my partner at all.
