Activating AP at MK

I have my AP voucher, and we're heading to MK on the day we arrive. I figured I'd activate it there, but then realized I didn't know if I had to do this at the TTC. Isn't that where the ticket windows are? I've never been there, always taken the Disney Buses right to MK. I don't want to take the bus to MK, then have to go to TTC, so if anyone can fill me in, I'd appreciate it!

You should be able to activate your AP voucher at the MK ticket window. :earboy2:

You can activate your AP at the ticket counter to the right of the MK main entrance. We have done that the last couple of times. I'm pretty sure you can also activate them at the front desk of your resort.

Thanks for the quick replies! so there are ticket windows at MK, they're not at TTC? I honestly can't remember- was never looking for them before.

They definately have a set of ticket windows to the right of the entrance of the MK. I beleive they also have them at the TTC, but I don't go there very often.

I believe the windows at the TTC are ticket sales windows, whereas the windows at the MK, to the right of the turnstyles are guest relations windows. Guest relations can take care of ticket issues, but they can also assist with more than that.

There's both a Guest Relations location as well as Ticket Windows at the TTC. At least according to what the agent at the Ticket Window told me! :)

I think I might be dumb, but I still don't know of you all are saying whether the AP can be activated at MK (at the park itself, not TTC). I know I'm being thick- it's been a long weekend!

hmm.. I just looked at the voucher, and it lists the other 3 parks, and MK guest relations at TTC. So I guess there's my answer. Grrr, now maybe we don't want to go to MK first, if I have to get to TTC (without a car) to activate my AP.

Not at all being dumb! :)

Yes, you can activate your annual pass at the Magic Kingdom.

As you're walking towards the turnstiles, go all the way to your right. Way down on the end are the Guest Relations windows, and you can activate your Annual Pass there.

And I too love the Golden Girls! Sophia's my fav! ;)

You can also take care of it at Guest relations, 2 locations, at Downtown Disney. That is where I am heading first on Tuesday. Also to pick up MVMCP tickets.

No you can't. It must be done at a park ticket booth or at a Guest Relations location. The resorts neither sell AP's nor have the ability to activate them.

You can't activate them at the resorts (unless maybe if you are staying concierge somewhere). I checked with mine because we are arriving very late, after all the ticket windows will be closed and I was worried about my AP rate. The front desk at Pop told me that I could still check in with the AP rate as long as I show them the voucher. Then I can get it activated the next day (which will technically be the same day...later in the AM).

The ticket windows are right in front of MK. :)

Ok, thanks again everyone! I have now had a good night's sleep and my reading comprehension seems to be back up to normal.

This'll teach me to pay attention to details- how many times have I walked into MK, and I never noticed Guest Relations windows? I'm always t busy bouncing up and down, I guess!

AP vouchers can be activated at any ticket window or Guest Relations window at the 4 theme parks, or the Guest Relations locations at Downtown Disney. This includes the Guest Relations windows at the MK entrance and the ticket windows at the TTC, though on my last 3 trips I have not seen the TTC windows open at all.

If you don't yet have a voucher and want to purchase a new, fuly-activated AP when you arrive at WDW, you can do that at a bunch of places (in addition to those listed above), but these additional places do not activate vouchers:

- The Ocala Disney Information Center on I-75 in Ocala, FL
- Disney's EarPort at Orlando International Airport (2 locations)
- Character Warehouse at Belz Mall 2 in Orlando
- Character Premiere at Belz Mall 1 in Orlando
- Character Premiere at Orlando Premium Outlets Mall in Lake Buena Vista
