My son got an action required email to confirm his August trip. I am also going in August but the week before him and have gotten no email. Will they cancel my trip if I don’t confirm due to no email?
( I haven’t gotten a single email from Disney since this all started, nothing about COVID, Park Pass, etc. but my son has)

I heard that if you don’t get the email you should call to confirm your reservation. (Unless you are DVC)

I received the email for our trip arriving July 31st. We are cancelling, but there is not an option to do online. It just directs you to MDE plans. After chatting on MDE the agent told me to call next week since I'll have up until 7 days prior to cancel. I've tried calling 40+ times over the past five days and never connected. So many things up in the air!

Does clicking any of the options actually do anything? It sure didn’t seem like it to me?

Supposedly, "Confirm" means you're 100% going and if your resort is closed, a CM will reach out to you; "Modify" means you're either choosing to modify your dates/resort, a CM will reach out to you fo the modifications; "Cancel" is that you're not going and you just need to cancel it online and no further action is needed.

To me, everyone has taken modifications already into their own hands by calling and aren't waiting around for CM's to call. It's mainly just a survey to gauge who is still arriving on what day and for how long to get numbers.

Is your reservation a package or RO? Under "My Plans," if it's RO, you should be able to click on "Cancel Reservation." Or, on the MDE app if you click on the resort hotel and scroll the icons all the way to the right, there should be a "Cancel Room" option. Unfortunately, if it's a package, you will have to call.

Funny that the "cancel reservation" button showed back up after I indicated I was canceling my POR visit on the email. Still can't click it. Just errors out. My BWI booking in September has no such button just the "call us" message.

Has anybody else that is going NOT gotten this email? My sister got on for her stay, but my son and I have NOT - and we're all going together the same week 7/18-7/25...

we got one of these for labor day

I called and got an agent. She said that it doesn’t matter if you get an email. They won’t cancel your plans.

It is better not to click anything in the email. It could be a scam or computer virus seed.

Use some other method of communication such as go to Disney;s web site directly and sending email to an address you find there. Don't pick out an email address you see in the email you received to send your reply to.

You could take a chance and click the email if the email itself gives specific details such as the actual dates and resort name and whether it is room only or free dining, as opposed to just "your Disney reservation".

It's okay to be hasty writing a reply instead of following all the rules you learned in fourth grade for writing letters, this will save you some time.

This email is the same format as the one sent to resort guests staying before parks opening. They decided to follow this model while restrictions are in place. I got one for my stay that was already modified from AKL to Poly. When you click on the email, it takes you to a page with your name, reservation number, check-in and check-out date, the resort name, and the room category. It's good to be aware and cautious, but this is a legitimate email from Disney asking about if you're coming, modifying, or not coming.

Didn't seem like it to me either. I wanted to confirm but there wasn't really a place to do that? It just said "Please contact your travel professional to learn more about your options".
