ACME double coupons!!!

I was in ACME yesterday and the checkout clerk told me that ACME is now doubling coupons up to 99cents. So if you have a coupon for .99 you'll actually save $1.98!!! Their old policy would double coupons up to $.50, the most you could save was $1.00. I haven't actually tried this yet as I was only buying a bag of lettuce but thought this would be usefull info to my fellow disboarders!!

And best of all, Acme is "true doubling" the printable coupons I get through places like coupons.com (from the coupon resources links on www.HotCouponWorld.com)----the ones that are marked Do Not Double-5

I printed a bunch of Honey Nut Cheerios coupons for the $2 sale, so I bought a bunch for 70-80¢ (different values of coupons).

Wegman's does true doubles as well. My Acme does not accept internet coupons though.

I hope Shoprite begins true doubles soon because now Acme , Wegman's and Genaurdi's already does.

I always use self check-out and scan my own coupons. The printables always work...no clue if I went thru regular check-out if they would take them.

My ShopRites double up to 99 cents.
