My sweet baby boy turned sweet 16 today! I have no idea where the time has gone. I look at him and can still see my little boy but now also see the man he is becoming. Oh gosh...pass the tissues...I think I'm going to cry now....  :lovestruc

:cloud9:

My DS11 still comes to find me and hugs me goodbye every morning. I've been holding on to him a bit longer each day. They grow up too fast!

My baby turned 15 today. It was only yesterday that he wanted to go everywhere with us and now he wouldn't be caught dead going to a store with me. I take he and his friends to football games and they very quickly "lose" me at the gate. My big boys will turn 25 and 26 very soon.

I recall when Vince was 16, seeing him drive away on his own the first time. :faint:. Now I see him wheeling a huge fire rig around, they do grow all too quickly. Birthday wishes for Kirk, Colleen. Yikes, I first met Kirk when he was only 10. :scratchin

My youngest daughter turns 16 in 12 days.

Worse still, my oldest daughter turns 21 in November!!!! :scared:

Add me in. My DD turned 15 today, well actually in 40 minutes if you want to get technical.
Where did that sweet little loving girl go? I never signed on to have a hormonal teenaged DD. I know I definitely did not sign on for one who has a boyfriend either.
I want my little girl back.

I was just having these thoughts about my DS who turns 12 next week. He is taller than me now-I was remembering a year ago when he still occasionally held my hand. Now he acts like I have cooties. He still wants to spend time with his mom and stepdad so I can't complain too much! He just isn't as sweet as he used to be.
My DsD just got her license on Friday. It was very weird for her and for her dad and I to see her drive away (to go to work) last Saturday!
They grow up so fast..... :moped:

My "baby" boy turns 16 on April 2nd and I'm still not sure how he got this big. My "baby" daughter turned 18 in December and I'm still reeling from that.

Now that they both tower over me, I am their "little Mommy" and they like to think that they are my protectors. They're sweet - most of the time!! ;)

I am trying so hard to hang on to these times because I don't want them to grow up just yet. :(

He's taller than me and eats more than his father does!! But I have noticed such a maturity change in him recently. He taking school more seriously, helping my DH more and for the most part more responsible. Can't believe how time has flown!! My other Baby DS turns 13! the end of this month!! I can't believe 2 teens, better buy stock in Clairol!!!

When my oldest turned 16, I spent 45 minutes in CVS crying over which birthday card to buy! The next year, I spent 30 minutes in front of my house crying while taking pictures before his senior prom. That same night, I cried for over an hour (I am not kidding!!) picking out his graduation card. He is now almost 20, and wants to know how I'm going to handle my "baby" turning 13 in May. I really need to buy stock in Kleenex!!

Look at my signature photo....2 girls....14 and 11.........life won't be "normal" here for another 10 yrs or so. Of course, by that time, I could very well be a grandma!! :earseek: :scared: :faint:  Me thinks normal is gone!!! :scratchin
