At 2:00 the radio station announced a tornado watch until 8 p.m. Just now they added a WARNING until 2:23 p.m. Ack! I'm thinking TS Gaston must be moving up. It's been very breezy outside for a while now. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/28/28_2_2.gif' alt='Hurricane' border=0></a> <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_4_38v.gif' alt='Tornado' border=0></a>

we had a warning yesterday...seems we've had a few lately here....pretty uncommon for NH.

We actually watched one try to form right across the street from us. You could see the clouds swirling about in the circular motion and part of it tried to come down. It didn't tho (thankfully)
We sent the kids to the basement but we stayed and watched. Probably not the smartest thing but it was pretty spellbinding to see.

Be safe!!!

P.S. Where are you???

Are you getting the awful rain down there? It is horrible here in Richmond. I'm sitting at work waiting for it to calm down some.

Stay safe! I hope the tornados stay away.

As Pooh Girl said, the rain here in Richmond is just horrible....flash floods everywhere. My front and back yards are both under water. I'm just hoping the power stays on!

PW- Hope there weren't any tornados.
I love your tornado smilies....the one on the right made me laugh

I hope you didn't have any bad weather. We had a flood here in Richmond. 14 inches of rain yesterday. I got stuck and had to stay at my sister's. It was just a mess.

I asw on the weather channel that they had a tornado in James City County. I have friends that live there. I may give them a call! Hope everyone is okay!:D

Okay here. Just LOTS of rain and wind!!! Holy molie!! I heard there was a tornado in Poquoson. I hope our Poquoson DISers are all okay!!

Clear day today. That TS moved through pretty quickly. Last time it was here two days.

We lucked out. A town near us had one though.

Liked the smilies? ;)

Glad all was well by you, Sandy. We faired a lot better here by the beach, hardly that much rain, just a bunch of wind. DS and I just got back from a walk and there are a lot of downed tree branches, but that is all.

It is pretty nice out there now, so I think we will go off to the beach this afternoon. :)

At least five deaths in Richmond, hundreds of cars floating all over the city to end up resting in weird places, buildings collapsed, buildings being condemned, Interstate 95 a river in some places, and water everywhere. This is what happened here in the last night/day!

Eek I have a friend who lives in Poquoson. He's not a DIS'r though.

I can't believe how bad Richmond looked on the news! I have never see it look like that before.:(

Glad everyone is okay!:D

I hope your friend is okay, Minnie.

Thanks PW! I might call some people down there later. Hopefully no more storms will come through for awhile. I haven't been following the weather channel.:sunny:

You're welcome, Minnie. :) I'm hoping for nicer weather myself, but the Weather Channel online says we're in for rain and clouds the next 10 days.
