I'm trying not to freak out...

We bought APs and have to go to guest services to pick them up upon arrival. It said to bring ID and the card we purchased with. This presents two problems. ..

1. The card i used was about to expire so my bank sent a new one. For some reason the new card had an entirely new number! It actually messed up a few auto pays i had set up, including our monthly draw for our annual DVC dues. I had to call and resubmit the auto pay. Will this be a problem when i try to get the passes?

2. Both DH and I have commercial driver's licenses. We had to update our licenses due to some new federal regulations. When I went to DMV they issued me a duplicate license with the new class rating (gave me a paper temp license with actual one coming in 10 days)...but they let me keep my old license too. When DH went to do the same, at a different DMV, they confiscated his license, leaving him with a paper temp. His new license SHOULD also be here in 10 days...

But, Our trip us in 18 days!. Plus next week is a holiday so Thursday and Friday don't count. I have little faith the DMV will get his license here in time!

What to do on both counts? How often do you think guest services has somebody having a full on crying meltdown in front of them? Cause that's whats gonna happen if the credit card is a problem and/or his ID doesn't show.

Call beforehand and explain, they will note the account and you should be able to pick up no problem.

We had an issue last month where my grandmother purchased tickets for some members of our party, but she was not attending. She just had to call and give the ok for me to pick up their tickets. Different situation, but they seem to be very accommodating.

You won't need the "actual" credit card.
Bring the one legai photo ID for one of you and any other cards (without photo) with ID info.

If they (the CMs) NEED to, they can shoot a guest photo (for ID purposes) for the AP when you're at Disney.

1) Shouldn't be a problem, there are ways around not having the CC, it just requires a note in the system. To make life easier, make sure to bring your printed e-certificates or the PDF on a smartphone. At the very least, bring a confirmation number, so they've got something to look you up with.

2) The paper temp license is supposed to act as legal form of identification, same as a regular license, so it should be acceptable, IMO. Does it have all the same information (name, address, DOB) listed as a regular one? If so, I can't imagine why it wouldn't be okay.

I personally have never had to show CC used to buy AP or any other ticket with me. I do have Conf number and pdf paper w me. I did show my DL but I'm sure a photo id of any kind would work

When I picked up my AP (A Florida Resident one at that since I split time between Texas and Florida), I never had to show anything - ID, CC, anything! - to get my card issued, just the paper voucher with the barcode on it.

Call ticket services. 4075664985 They will make a note on your AP order. No worries. :)

I haven't had to show my cc when I picked up my original nor my renewal. I did have to show photo ID but since the picture is about 10 years and at least 20 pounds ago I certainly doesn't look like me.

Maybe bring a copy of the credit card statement showing the purchase of the tickets.....it will have your name (maybe both of your names?) and address, it will show the last 4 digits of that card, and just explain.

As we know each CM does it different, but I have never had to show the credit card....just my ID. Your hubby's new license, even though paper, would still have his name on it. If he has something else with name/photo, I'd bring that along too, just as a backup.

I find them very easy to work with when something is a bit out of the ordinary....stay calm and explain it....they aren't trying to ruin your vacation, just trying to be sure someone didn't hijack your emailed voucher or steal your mail. I've often had them ask me questions about my MDE....address, phone number, email address. In a non-Disney transaction I had someone question my identity because it was my husband's name as the "owner"....so I told them to call or email using the information in their records....the email came to MY phone....and the call rang to MY phone....they realized it was his name on the account, but I was the one responsible for the account, lol.

If the CM seems to have a problem with it, calmly ask for a manager/supervisor.....I have found that first level CMs have strict rules they must abide and can't detour, but the managers have the authority is quickly work with the qwerks that Guests throw at them and make decisions. Again, remember they just want to make sure the tickets belong to you.

I picked up our APs in April with no ID or CC. I was freaking out in line when I realized I left my wallet in the room, but the CM was awesome, she just asked me questions I would know the answers to (bio data & previous visit info). It was pretty simple.

We always pick ours up. Have to show ID, but they never asked for the credit card.
I just bring ID and either the receipt or the voucher
