ACK...my eyes are BURNING

I just had on a latex mask and gloves. (skeleton). I had the gloves on my hands. I think I may have touched my face, but my eyes started stinging. I rubbed them, and now they are BURNING. I just rinsed my eyes out and washed my hands, but man, this hurts.

Could it be an allergic reaction?

Why were you wearing the gloves? It may have been whatever you were originally trying to protect yourself from.

If you've got some benadryl, you might want to take some...

oh, halloween mask, duh, missed that the first time.

I'd call your doctor, just to make sure. Don't want to mess around with your eyes...

LOL, halloween costume. It is a skeleton, mask, and the gloves are skeleton hands. I was showing my Dh how I looked.

It does sound like an allergic reaction. If you haven't already taken some Benedryl, I would do so. I'd also call the doctor.

I once got something in my eye that caused an allergic reaction and the pain was so bad I ened up in the emergency room. I had no idea your eye could hurt that bad.

I hope you're better soon, and can still wear the costume tonight (just don't touch your eyes! )
