Ack! Fast Passes for Group problem

I'm so frustrated--don't know if I'm venting or looking for a solution. We're traveling 9/27, so today is the opening of our FP+ window (we're staying on site). It's me and my family, sis and her boys, my sister's soon-to-be-ex-husband, and my mom. So, that's 4 reservations, and four MDE accounts. I've linked us all up on MDE, but just go to make FP+ reservations, and mom and sis and BIL haven't added their tickets. Mom and sis are a relatively easy solution: I'm waiting for a call from mom with her ticket number so I can add it for her, and sis will add hers and the boys' tonight. The problem is BIL: he just purchased his tickets from the Disney website today, and it says that they won't ship until August 12th! Aaarghhhh! I've been trying to get him to do his reservations for weeks!

Is there any chance I can do my FP+ reservations and then add a 9th person in a couple of weeks? Or, am I outta luck? And, are we going to get stuck with FP+ options that no one wants? (We're keen on the 7 dwarf mine train, Anna and Elsa, and Soarin', along with TSM and Rock n' Roller Coaster.)

Any advice, or at least someone to talk me down off my Disney Planning Ledge?

I would call to add him to your reservations.

The problem is BIL: he just purchased his tickets from the Disney website today, and it says that they won't ship until August 12th! Aaarghhhh! I've been trying to get him to do his reservations for weeks!

He should have received a confirmation number which can be used to link his tickets to MDE.

That's super annoying. You can definitely try and get him a fp close to yours once you have his ticket number. You'll likely be able to get most of them. You're going to have trouble booking 7dmt and a&e so expect to split your group up for those
