OH MY GOSH!! I love Thorsten Kaye and Michael Easton. I used to be a huge fan of PC. Trey got me watching it actually. He was about 2 at the time and there was a show on before PC that he liked. Maybe Family Feud? Anyway, when it was over, PC would come on and it'd play that theme song and he would be mesmerized for the first few mins. Then he'd lose interest and go off to play something. I started watching it and became hooked!!

We were in DL during the last week of the show and I set my video player to record it, but it was broken so the tape went way too fast and the words were unintelligible. I was so mad, I threw the suitcase down the stairs and scraped up the wall. My only violent moment of my life! This is why I don't watch the soaps-I get way too involved and way too hooked on them!! I'm pretty sure I scared Buzz with my antics. He tries to get me into watching shows that are a series, but I just get tooooo hooked on them. Not good for my obsessive nature.

I loved Allison and Rafe and Kelly Monaco's character with Michael's. I forget their names now-Oh-Olivia and Caleb I think. Ahhhhh, happy memories of watching PC.....

I read your update last night but I had to get off the DIS it made me so mad. Unfortunatly that is just the way it is. There are always going to be rude people out there. Fortunatly there are some nice ones out there too! I guess we have to concentrate on them. But really who did that well I can't call her a lady cause she wasn't acting like them and it doesn't seem right to call her a woman cause she obviously wasn't mature enough to be called that and I don't want to upset the girls so how about female??? I think the lap tray just about did me in. Did she think it was her rear guard??????????

Good thing Bill seems to hold on to his manners no matter how rude people are because I think if it would've been me I would have had to drive the chair over her. VROOM VROOM No it's not Lighting and Mater it's Bill and Tracey!!!!!!!!

I love the fact after all the yelling of the rude person that Forbes walks up to ya'll and says i remember you!!!

I think in preparation for next year's Soap Weekend, you should attach an air horn to Bill's chair and give it a go when people won't get out of the way or act like they can't see him. That will get their attention for sure.

You guys are so sweet and you handled the situation with grace and patience. I couldn't have done it. Butt on tray = too much for me.

Hi Tracy. I'm a huge fan of the ABC soaps and I envy that you got to see all of the hunky guys (Zach, Rex and Nash just make this old heart swoon). I don't know if I could handle the crowds though; it's the only reason I haven't tried one of these weekends yet. And for Bill not being a huge fan, he's awfully patient to do this with you.

As far as the rude fan you encountered, it's a good thing I wasn't there. I know Bill couldn't pick his foot up and place it in her rear end but I certainly could have.

Hi Kimmy!! I have heard people say that parts of the park aren't that bad, just the areas where where the soap stars are doing autographs and the motorcade route , I am not sure if that is true. Tad and Erica .

That woman was so rude! I don't know why, but some people have to act important to feel better about themselves. They don't realize that they are making themselves look stupid. I hope you don't run into anymore of these people! Between the bus driver and this lady you guys are meeting all of the meanies!

Hi Amy! You are so right about that woman, you would not believe how many people were rolling their eyes and shaking their heads the more she talked. The meanies can't get us down .

I spent 10 years working at a NASCAR track...and believe me I have seen my share of "rabid" fans but that soap "fan" takes the cake. Being annoying is one thing but invading personal space is another! I'm not one to hold my tonge either.

Hi MRYPPNS!! I love the line about "soap fans taking the cake". You are so right, they are just people after all. It is fun to see them, but heck I get excited about getting a picture with Mickey Mouse too. I am so glad Bill's wheelchair was between that woman and I or she might have gotten shoved off the tray .

Hi! Love the update. I don't mean to hijack, just wanted to tell a quick story. We were at the Yacht Club Nov 06 during SSW. My kids were swimming with a little boy and he seemed to be all alone. We got talking to him and he said his dad was at MGM signing autographs. It turns out he was Kamar's son. He was beautiful! I so wanted to take his picture, but since I wouldn't want strangers taking pictures of my kids, I didn't. He was very sweet and told us that he travels the country with Dad but lives with his mom, who is a model!

A few minutes later his Dad's GF (now wife) came to check on him. It was Keri from OLTL. She is gorgeous in person. Anyway - just had to share because he was a cutie!

Can't wait to hear more...

Hi Michelle. I have at least 1 more picture of Sexy Rexy in the next installment. I will not let people intrude on Bill's personal space, that wheelchair is like part of his body, "his legs" as he says and I will always try to protect him.

Awesome SSW update! I tried to post last night but my laptop or the DIS seemed frozen up. It's just as well, I was so mad after reading about LMLAMISS (Little Miss Look At Me I'm Somebody Special) that I was spitting nails!!!! My guess is that her dad is a Disney Bus Driver.

Okay, I think I'm a little calmer now.

Great pictures! Don't know much about him but that Michael E. Knight sure sounds like a sweetie.

We were outside the PTC having our carry-out PB&J shakes (sounds gross but they taste like a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup) and we saw Susan Lucci and her security detail come out from between the PTC and Hollywood and Vine. There's a little area just to the left of PTC (if you're facing the building) that looks like an apartment house and that is where they came out of. Maybe that's the new spot????

Can't wait to read about Sunday's adventures at SSW.

Lee, I am so sorry the installment made you so mad you had to get off the DIS . I would not be a good person to be in a wheelchair, I would have hit her and said "oops". Michael E. Knight talked to us quite a bit, it made us forget all about the rude person. Hugs to you and your family, you are such a wonderful woman. You are right they have no clue what they are missing.

Hi team weasel!! I am not even going to let Bill read about your "air horn" idea. He has wanted one for a while, his dad owns a business that works on Semi's, it would be really easy to get one, I would be throwing it off our balcony after about an hour.

Butt on tray = too much for me too, but I wasn't letting a rude, inmature person ruin our day. We saw her one other time that day, I was sitting on a bench talking to someone. She saw Bill first, then I saw her look for me and I gave her my "angry eyes". I have been perfecting them for years with my son . Our eyes met and she knew I was still livid, she moved on quickly.

Hi Lynn. You have such a good point about her being on the same side of the barricade as us. If she is such good friends with all of them she wouldn't have to go to these events. There is a difference of being a fan and a stalker. US = Fans, HER = Stalker.

(This is all SSW stuff, if you don’t like the ABC soaps you will probably be completely, utterly bored)

SSW Sun. Nov. 11th 2007 Part 1:

Can you believe for the 3rd day in a row we were at the bus stop around 7am? This was the last day of SSW. The fast pass line was much better today, but we still were not wasting hours standing around with no guarantee that we would get one.

We got through the line and headed for the motorcade wheelchair section. There were about 4 other wheelchair/ecv users there. Hector, a great cast member told us they didn’t have the section ready yet, but to go to a certain area and we all would be let in first. As we were heading for that area, a lady using oxygen driving a red scooter was flying and would have run right into Bill’s side if it wasn’t for Hector. That shook me up for a minute .

We were let into the area and Bill picked the front row. Last year it was set up so there was a row of wheelchairs/ecv’s/chairs then an empty row so you could move in and out. This year they put the first two rows on top of one another. I had to ask a lady in a regular chair to move so I could get out to go grab breakfast. It was a mess and actually unsafe. What if there had been an emergency and the wheelchair/ecv users needed to leave the area quickly?

The first motorcade didn’t start until 9:45am, it was approximately 8:15am at that time. I went in search of breakfast and found it at the ABC Commissary. I came back, got out Bill’s cup for him, and we ate and talked about when our next Disney trip would be. There was a lovely woman on an ecv next to us, she and her daughter had been coming to SSW for a couple of years.

Finally it was time for the first motorcade:

- All My Children - Alicia Minshew (Kendall Slater), Bobbie Eakes (Krystal Chandler), David Canary (Adam/Stuart Chandler), Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater)

This was Alicia’s first day, because she was sick the day before. They all looked really good and David looked and acted more like Stuart Chandler than Adam.

Bobbie and David were asked questions about whether or not they would be getting back together. Bobbie asked the crowd if Krystal should get back with Adam. The crowd clapped wildly. David said that Adam had never confessed to “trying to sell the baby, maybe he didn’t do it?” The crowd laughed.

Thorsten and Alicia looked very comfortable with one another, they seemed like true friends. I would think they would be because her boyfriend is Thorsten's best friend.

It was over all too soon and we waited for the next motorcade at 11am.

- General Hospital - Josh Duhon (Logan Hayes), Julie Berman (Lulu Spencer), Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall), Laura Wright (Carly Jax), and Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth Spencer).

Tyler Christopher (Nickolas Cassadine) was supposed to be there, but he was a no show for the entire weekend.

They started out by talking to Julie and Josh, but they seemed a little awkward with the interview. Julie had recently gotten engaged and was beaming. They talked to Rebecca about the Jason/Jake storyline and said she was thankful the fans kept writing in wanting Jason and Liz back together. The interview really got to going when Kelly and Laura started talking. They were goofy, funny, and talked over everyone. They were hilarious.

They all talked about the Ball at Wyndemere. They said they had a hard time reacting to the lightning, it was cracking them up, they days were very long, but they got through it ok. Rebecca said “you all know what is going to happen don’t you?” (Elizabeth Quartermaine was killed off) They crowd yelled. She said it was sad.

Next up at 12:15pm was another motorcade.

- One Life To Live - Forbes March (Nash Brennan), Kamar de los Reyes (Antonio Vega), Michael Easton (John McBain), and Bree Williamson (Jessica Brennan)

Kamar danced a little bit before he sat down. The interviewer asked him if he would ever go on Dancing with the Stars? He smiled, never really said yes or no, but the crowd sounded like they would like to see that.

They talked to him, Bree, and Forbes about the love triangle. Kamar said Antonio’s heart had been broken. People in the crowd were yelling “Talia”, Kamar smiled about that. Bree and Forbes talked about Nash and Jessica. Michael joked that he didn’t think he had ever had any real scenes with Bree or Forbes, he didn’t know why he was with them now. They gave good interviews.

The next interview was at 1:30pm with Sherri Shepard from the View. She was going to be talking to Susan Lucci (Erica Kane).

Susan told Sherri about AMC and getting ready to tape “New Beginnings” with Celine Dion. They showed many clips of Erica Kane’s earlier days. Susan said her favorite storyline was when Erica was a supermodel. She said “what other way would I have been able to be a model?” They showed a clip of her with David Canary (Adam Chandler). It was when Erica was throwing food at Adam. She said she loved that scene, they had a stunt coordinator come in and worked for a long time with the crew to get that scene just right. She was bubbly, entertaining, and sweet as usual.

We missed the interview at 2:00 p.m.:

It was time for us to take bathroom breaks. We were worried about losing our spots because we were told earlier in the day that the wheelchair section would fill up and they couldn’t save places. We discussed it with the people around us and they told us to go, they wouldn’t let anyone in. I tracked down Hector to make sure they would let us back in the section. He said no problem.

I was happy to be able to walk around for a bit, we got a couple of pretzels, a soda, and a water and made our way through the crowd. I missed Aiden Turner AGAIN!! . I will see him close up this year, I have promised myself.

It was time for the 4:00 p.m. interview:

- One Life to Live - Erika Slezak (Vick Davidsoni) (Hosted by Sherri Shepherd of ABC's The View)

They showed clips from the past with her, talked about the multiple personality storyline, and showed a clip of her when Megan (her daughter) was dying. She said to this day she couldn’t watch that clip it was too emotional for her.

Next up was 4:30 p.m.:

- One Life to Live - Brandon Buddy (Cole Thornhart), John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex Balsom), Kassie DePaiva (Blair Manning), Kathy Brier (Marcie McBain), Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning), Tika Sumpter (Layla Williamson), Trevor St. John (Todd Manning)

John-Paul cracks us up every time he is interviewed. Kristen is always bubbly and looked so cute in her Minnie ears. They talked about their storylines and Kassie and Trevor act like they are Kristen’s parents in real life.

- General Hospital - Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), Jason Thompson (Patrick Drake), Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio), Sonya Eddy (Ephinany), Dominic Rains (Leo), Nazanin Boniadi (Leyla), Kent King (Lanie)

This interview was insane. Bradford Anderson was hilarious. He had the rest of the cast laughing so hard. It was a mess. The interviewer did not have control over this bunch, Bill and I really regretted not going to Bradford’s booth the day before. He was one of the most popular actors there.

The last thing of the night was at the Grand Motorcade and Street Jam. All the actors/actresses came up on stage and were introduced for the last time.

At the end the High School Musical CM’s came out and sang. The row right in front of us was for VIPS. A boy came up and crouched down in front of us. I didn’t pay much attention to him, but Bill did. It was Eddie Alderson (Matthew Buchanan) from One Life to Live. He is Kristen Alderson’s (Starr Manning) real life brother. Bill waved at him, his face lit up because he knew Bill recognized him. He went up and took some video of the HSM number. I said “Eddie could I please take a picture”, he said “sure”.

It was a great day and we just sat there after it was over to let the crowd clear. We couldn’t believe our trip was almost over. It was time to go back to the resort and pack some things and rest up for our last full day in Disney. We were so sad already.

I used to be a huge fan of NBC soaps back in the late 80's ... I can't imagine how excited I would have been for a NBC super soap weekend type thing!

I think it is awesome! I even recognized some of the ABC characters from reading Soap Opera Digest way back when (I was a a BIG fan ) ... !
