Thanks everyone for the Thanksgiving messages. Things have been a little hectic around here, with Bill having a 15 page term paper due. I got to proof read it . He is still working on a 30 page proposal he has due next week. We have been BUSY!!

Hey there everyone, esp Tracy and Bill! Things have been kinda hectic lately, as I'm sure you know. Just got caught up on everything and I just wish I was as good as you are in taking pictures! There were so many things I forgot to "click" and now I'm upset with myself!

Oh well, I'll just have to go back to WDW and do it all over again.

Seeing how easy/convenient/considerate the ME was makes me consider staying onsite next time!

I had always read it was a little hectic in the Pop lobby and with watching bus after bus load of vacationers headed to Pop Century I was preparing myself for a bit of a wait. Bill got unloaded from ME and off we went into the lobby, to our surprise it was practically empty.

There was only one person in front of us. We were called and a Mr. Likeshisjob helped us. I told him the reservation number and he got to typing. I stated we had spoken with Special requests about Bill’s medical needs. The room was “locked” for us so no one else would get it. Even though it was before 2pm the room was ready. We got our “keys” and went in search of the room, but first we had to go into Everything Pop and buy something, LOL. We had that mindset of “we haven’t been to Disney in a year, buy something, buy something, buy something Disney!! I was so silly I took a picture of the shopping bag.

We were in the 60’s buildings room 5122. Ground floor on the opposite side of the pool as requested .

Here are some pics of the room:

They already had the hand held shower ready. There was a knock at the door and the fridge arrived. Then 3 minutes later another knock, it was a shower bench this time. The one attached to the wall was on the wrong side for Bill, so we needed this one.

Another knock, for some reason one of the reservationists at special requests had put down we needed a TTY kit. I would say they did this because Bill made our reservations with his TTY phone. I told them thank you, but we wouldn’t need it. We were finally alone long enough to get out Bill’s first purchase… PAL MICKEY!!!

Can you believe there was another knock? For those of you counting this would be # 4. I opened the door and there was a woman standing there with a vase of peach roses. Bill did it again .

The card read:

“I hope your dreams come true during our vacation!! Love, Bill”

( Everyone say it together…… AWWWWW)

That man knows how to make me cry . The flowers also had a Mickey head on them:

After giving him hugs and kisses for his sweetness, I started putting up the carry on stuff. Bill called his parents to let them know we arrived safely. His mom was really happy we called. She made a joking comment that we should call her every day. (It didn’t happen) I found another fridge in the door on the entertainment center. I called the front desk and told them we didn’t need two, they told me not to worry about it .

We had a little critter in the window and I gave her a LGMH:

Oh Tracey, I'm so glad everything went so smooth so far. YES!!! NOt only did they have your request right, but already had the room ready!!! I love the Pal Mickey. and AWWWWW Yep Bill knows how to do it right!!!

Those roses are so pretty! Someone needs to clue djlexus in on this for our trip in january...LOL! So glad to see the positive things about POP as we will be there in January and in March! I am so excited! Ready for Christmas?!

Bill's a keeper.

It looks like you were just down a ways from where I was in June. I was in 5115. It was a great location. You couldn't hear the noise from the pool, but still very close to Classic Hall and Everything Pop. I sat on that bench in your picture a few nights just enjoying being on vacation.

No problems at check in Stuff arriving on time Sounds good so far.
