Hi Tracy and Bill and everyone else!

I found this thread and started reading it on Thursday. I just finished! I read it like people read books, picking up and putting down my laptop when I had the time. In fact three books are neglected on my nightstand in favor of this TR.

I am loving it and wanted to say hi and Merry Christmas to everyone on here! Also, I am so happy to be caught up before Christmas!

Excellent update-I read it 2 times. We like Figment too. There's something about it that is just cute. I love the song.

I hope you both have a very Merry Christmas. We're back from my mom's. It was fun, but my brother's ex-wife was there which made things weird. I'm not really sure why she showed up. I'll have to ask my mom later. She's an odd one.

I had to tell you this, though. My nephew got Guitar Hero and of course, everyone wanted a turn. Everyone was getting booed and not doing very well so I took a turn and fully expected to do bad at it. They were all telling me how hard it was. So I made sure it was a song I knew (Rock and Roll All Nite by Kiss!!) and I got the crowd rockin'!! It was so funny! Everyone at my mom's was just laughing and so impressed-I got an 84% on hitting the right buttons! Buzz tried it and they booed him off the stage!! It was hard, but I've played a musical instrument for 30 years so I think that gave me an edge.

Anyway, just wanted to share my Kiss story with you!! Gotta love 'em! Even if it was Guitar Hero. Buzz told me to go buy it tomorrow. I think I will-it was pretty fun. We got money for Christmas and anniversary from my mom so I'll spend it on that. I'll practice up and beat my nephews!

I'm glad you have such a wonderful relationship.

But just one question for all of the DISers...do you only have adorable dogs? There must be a cat person or two....

I finally got caught up!! Wow! Tracy that is awesome!! Bill is my kind of vacation seeker!! I've always wanted to do a Disney cruise-I'll bet they're wonderful!! You'll have such a great time!!

So Bill plays the Sims 2? I love that game too!! We have so much in common! (Kiss, Sims 2, Yoda!) Although, I think he's much smarter than I am! I did ok, but I never did that well in school! Those are some fantastic grades he got!

Will your son be going on the cruise trip with you? We did a Carnival cruise once and it was great. Then we had kids and Buzz is too leary to go on a cruise with Trey right now. He's worried about how he'd react and that he wouldn't be comfortable on a boat and might try to "get off" the boat. We tried to take him on a fireworks cruise a year ago at WDW but it was a total disaster.

We didn't know it at the time, but he's got a huge fear of the dark and likes to be at "home" when it's dark, whether home is actualy home or a hotel room. We were just about to board the boat and he got so scared he ran away from us. I had to chase him down (he's very fast and I'm not much of a runner!) and when I finally got him convinced to wear a life jacket for the boat, Buzz decided we'd just bag the cruise. He said it was just too much of a safety issue. I still wanted to do it, but then I started imagining him becoming so upset and falling overboard into that dark water with the alligators and other creepy things. So I agreed-no fireworks boat. They gave us a full refund, which was nice, because it said in the rules that they don't do that. Buzz explained to the guy that our son has autism and we didn't know he couldn't do this.

Anyway, didn't mean to hijack your thread! Your TR is great!! I really enjoyed reading through it! I subbed to it so I can stay current now!

Bill says thanks for the compliments about the grades, he works very hard to get them. I don't see my son coming on the cruise with us, he lives with his grandpa since Bill and I seem to have too many rules .

I can understand how you would be worried about taking Trey on a cruise, I would be too. Safety first, hopefully someday he will get over the fear of the dark too.

I am so excited about the cruise. We added more days onto the land part so we are going to be staying at the Poly December 5th until the 13th and then going to be cruising on the Wonder until the 17th!! I am bouncing off the walls and have even told Bill's parents that Disney will probably be an annual thing and a cruise was "probably" in the future . They are happy for us.

Bill LOVED your Guitar Hero story. Have you seen the game with the drums? He tried that in Best Buy playing the drums to Detroit Rock City, now he wants it . I love that Buzz got booed off the stage, but don't tell him I said that .

Hi Bonelady!! Thank you so much for reading and posting to our report. I am very lucky to have Bill in my life. I think there are cat people here too. I think Kimmy is one and I know there are more.

Thank you Jordan, it is great to be home. Not saying that I didn't have a great time, we really did, but I missed home.


I just had to show a couple things we got for Christmas. Here are some of the things Bill's mom got me for Christmas (she went present crazy this year):

That my friends is a new Cricut with all sorts of stuff. Now I just have to learn what the heck to do with it. I am going to be diving into the scrapbooking world!!

Here is my favorite present because she knows how much we love Acey:

Two jack russell picture frames. I was wondering why she was taking so many pictures of Ace the last time she was here .


And last but not least:

Yes, you are seeing a 4 ft. giraffe. Our living room has a safari theme to it, (no wonder I like AK so much). She really liked this now I have to figure out where to put it. Ace saw it, ran up to it, sniffed it, and ran away from it. Now he won't get near it.

Ace is passed out asleep, coming home from day care just wears him out. Bill is loading Windows Vista onto his computer and I am DISing!! I love having things back to normal!!

Hi Tracy! Welcome back. I love your Christmas presents. My mother got me a Cricut last year - I love it. She got me two Disney cartridges this year to go with it! They are expensive so I wouldn't have bought them for myself. Now I can start my scrapbook from our recent trip.
