They don't do a very good job renting out apartment rooms through CRO - I see them sellingl a full tower's worth of rooms every night.

Meanwhile, they designed and built these as timeshare apartments. They've spent all the time and money filing them as timeshare apartments. DVC is making money hand over fist for Disney. Why on earth wouldn't they be timeshare units?

The only scenario I can imagine - and even this seems implausible to me - would be a timeshare that somehow is disconnected, or connected differently, to the rest of DVC.

The chances are very, very small that they will not be DVC. But the point is DVC has the right to not announce it until they want to or change their mind on the use. Just because a CM does not confirm the use doesn't mean they are uninformed or evading the question (as the original poster suggested), they are just following the company official position.

If it does become a DVC, I'm going to refer to it as CRV, unless they can come up with a better name.
