I´m looking for advice on nice accomodation for a family of 6+baby in the Keys. I´m open to just about any location and style. Condo, bungalow, hotel, B&B, etc.
Just a nice place which preferably also appeals to kids of all ages (7 months, 3,5,12 and 14).

TIA :)

Have you considered Siesta Key? It's not one of the Florida Keys, but it is a key, and it is in Florida. I am there on vacation right now for the second time and i don't think I will ever go to another beach if I don't have to. The sand is white and is so fine it is like flour. It is never too hot to walk on either. I've herd it's the only place in the world with sand like this. It is just beautiful here. I've never been to the Florida keys so I can't help you with accomodations there.

Here in Siesta Key, we are staying in a condo called The Seashell, it's right on the beach. We are a family of six, two adults and four kids.

We stayed at the Cocoplum Resort in 2005. It was pretty nice. It has a beach, which is a bonus in the Keys, and there's some nice restaurants around. It wasn't very big for 5 adults, though.

Thanks! Are there beds for all of you in the unit you´re in?

May I ask what the bedding configuration is like? Thanks :)

There's a room plan on the site but from what I recall it was a queen with ensuite, and then a second bedroom with a queen and a twin. There's also a double pull out sofa-bed.

They have many different accomidations to choose from, from hotel rooms to 3 bedroom villas. We stayed in one of the villas, it has a full kitchen, two bedrooms with queen sized beds, one with a king, a sleeper sofa in the living room, and three bathrooms. Plus a private pool. The resort itself has a lagoon, a large pool for the whole resort, boat rentals, swimming with dolphins, parasailing, a fantastic spa, kids club...it's really a great place.

Two bedrooms, dh and i have a kingsize bed.

The other bedroom has two double beds- which in theory, two of my kids can sleep in each bed. My boys are not getting along at night lately so one boy moves to the couch.

We have three couches in the living room. By the morning, usually two kids are out there sleeping, with the extra comforters that are here. More than enough room for our family and guests if we wanted. Very spacious.
