Hi

I am due to fly into Orlando on the 16th April 07, and I am looking to book accommodation only on I drive. Does anyone have any tips or websites they can recommend?
I did consider a few hotels on I Drive but have been put off by reviews on Tripadvisor so any help would be appreciated

www.bookit.com
prices are in dollars so get it booked while the rate is good ,or buy the dollars for the stay.
Also have you looked directly at some of the hotel web sites, some give discounts if you are a member of the AA =to AAA.

have winged it in past when you could land and look for a room (not recomended). Now you have to have your first night booked for the visa waver.so dont leave it too long to book your room

If you are staying on I-drive the south end is much nicer with less tacky discount stores plus much quieter too.

The Rosen Center and Rosen Plaza hotels are very nice, but not necessarily cheap.

Checkout travelsupermarket for a decent search engine that checks a few sites. This link should search 16th April for 2 weeks 4-5 star ( Click on New search for different options)

edit. link not working for some reason you will have to copy and paste to your browser.

If link does not work try this http://www.travelsupermarket.com/travelmerge/travelsearch.aspx?package=5

3 stars from £17/night
4 stars from £25/night

A good buy is the Homewood suites at £42 incl breakfast, wireless internet inroom and managers reception 4 nights a week incl beer and wine. Rated #4out of 284 on Tripadvisor.

Or our favourite hotel Courtyard by Marriott LBV(better than I Drive) £43/night If you are interested in this PM me I have a discount code (if it still works) for 10% and register (if not a member)and book thru rpoints.com they give 6% cashback at Hotelopia so will actually cost around £36/night

If you don't find anything let me know I have more sites in my favourites at home. Its my hobby finding deals on Florida hotels, I know I need to get a life.:lmao:

We have stayed twice at the Rosen Centre at the quieter end of International Drive, and I can definitely recommend it. Lovely hotel.

We also go 16th April, where do you fly from and what time??

Not long now, the excitement is killing us!

Cath :thumbsup2
