Hi All
I am off to WDW in January, for my honeymoon.:cheer2: Super excited as I haven't been for 10+ years (and that was Euro Disney), as we live in Australia.
Was after some help/suggestions from the very knowledgeable people on this board (have been lurking for ages and learnt heaps!)
We arrive on the 10th of Jan, and check into the AKL Kidani Village using DVC rented points on the 14th, for 7 nights. I haven't booked accommodation for the 1st 4nights, or the last 5. For the last 5 I was thinking of trying to get the Boardwalk Inn (also through DVC points, if still available), but I am not too sure about the rooms.. are they nice? (studio) :confused3 The walls look very pink (which wont please HTB haha). Or does anyone have any other suggestions? The position of the BWI looks great.
For the 1st 4 nights I was thinking about maybe staying off site, to save some $$, and was thinking about the Monumental Hotel (got good reviews by the unofficial guide to Disney).
In terms of plans, I have bought a 7 day pass to WDW, 1 day to sea world, 1 day to the space center and 2 days to universal. We would also like to hit the outlet shops for probably 1 day. I was thinking about booking one of the universal hotels for 1 night for the front of the line passes, but am hoping we wont need it as it is the off season.
We will hire a car (will go look in the boards to find recommended cheap places).
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

if you're looking dvc try Bay lake tower. The contemporary has great restaurants and is spitting distance to the Magic Kingdom. if not Dvc go for the poly. it's georgeous. just got back from an adults only trip. we had dinner at jiko at AKL. AMAZING!!!!!!! Try the black pearl shiraz/cab and the wild boar with chakalaka and mealy pap app. the signature dish is oak grilled Filet mignion but be adventurous. you can get filet anywhere. Easily the best Disney dinning experience I've ever had. granted I've never been to victoria and Alberts but I plan to really soon.

also Boardwalk doesn't have bus transport to epcot. they have a ferry and you can walk but it takes you to the back entrance in world showcase which doesn't open until an hour or more after future world.

Just to clarify: while the World Showcase attractions don't open at 9 AM, that park entrance does.

Don't want the OP to think they'll be standing there for an extra two hours waiting to get in :).
