Accidental Serial Thread Killer?!?!?!

I'd like to know if this has happened to anyone that's noticed it lol. Have you ever posted in a bunch of different threads, only to find out that when you check to see if anyone's replied, absolutely NO ONE has?! I mean, it could be getting 4-5 replies an hour, but as soon as you reply, BOOM....silent. I'm not talking about just one thread neither, but multiple threads at the same time. It doesn't have to be because of something you said in the post, or a finality of some kind...it just.....pauses.

I've had that happen before. Made me feel like I was killing threads left and right. I felt cursed.


So tell me, has anyone else ever had this happen to them for one reason or another?

pause pause pause...... I've seen that happen a few times. I think it depends what time of the day you post. It's past midnight where I'm at now. If I start a thread, it's not going to be this late as I know most Disers are sleeping.

LOL Yeah, I feel like when I'd post, I'd hear a voice in the air going "*epic thunder* THIS THREAD IS OVAH!!!!"

I do agree that it does depend on when you post. Doesn't always happen like that though. Kinda eerie.

Just because I'd hate to make this thread become another one of your 'casualties' (that would be too ironic lol), I'll reply.

Does anyone else have a tendency to do this? Or am I gonna be killing my own thread?
