I was wondering if anyone can use the DCA entrance/exit to the Grand California if they are going to eat in one of the restaurants? I have wanted to try the nachos at WWS for a few years now but never have because I was never sure how to get there. I was looking on the map and it looks really close to the guest entrance for the hotel. I'd like to do it on the next trip but don't want to have to go through DTD to do it.

Yep, you sure can. We do it almost every visit. Just have your ticket and get a handstamp there for reentry. Love WWSnacks!

Oh cool! I am really excited to finally get to try them. :thumbsup2

Nachos are great. DD loves the nuggets (fyi kids meal sides are carrots & apples but they'll give you fries if you ask). And last time I tried a burger and it was sooooo good! REALLY good! Only thing I was ever dissapointed in was the kids burger. Teeeeeny tiny and super processed.

Love that it's quiet and has great A/C on a hot day, and the restrooms next door smell like the piney outdoors!

I am going to have to check out the bathrooms now too! :rotfl2:

Lol they were back then too! They use a black light to check right?

Do you have to use a fingerprint identification when entering the park at DLR?

That is only at WDW - the hand stamp and your ticket will get you back in.

They are all over you when leaving the park to get your hand stamped too - unless you have an AP.

Close and delicious. We've eaten there twice around dinnertime and it was less than half full. It was a very relaxing escape from the parks without going too far or booking a table service meal.

The only time I've ever seen it busy was at breakfast and you can usually still get a table. It's usually a ghost town at lunch time.

Love eating there, very easy to get to... Also an outlet in the dining area to charge a phone... and free drink refills....

And even with an AP if you're going at a busybusy time. Needed to get my hand stamped upon exiting during a Divas trip in, I want to say, March a few years back, and they insisted on stamping when ENTERING DCA over Columbus Day weekend a few years ago because the previous day there had been capacity closures even to APs and they wanted to make SURE we had the biggest chance to get back in.

Look for the cats there! :) (Outside, obviously, ha ha.) We used to see one cat around every now and again, she was beautiful.
