Is there anyplace...possibly the hotel that i'm staying at...that would allow me to access the internet for approx 10 minutes during the week that I am there...any help would be appreciated.....

Do any of the parks have internet terminals? I run my own company so even when i'm on vacation i'm still working. Will likely need to do some stuff around 10am and don't really want to be hanging on in the room until that late if I can help it (we're staying at BCV).

Thanks

There use to be some terminals in Epcot if I recall, gone now though if not mistaken. Only place I am aware is at Disney Quest.

There are computers with internet access at the Boardwalk Convention Center (a little room near the ballroom), downstairs at the Contemporary (I think it's called the Business Center), and I think a couple more places-Coronado Springs and maybe the Yacht Club. It's pretty pricey-$10 for 15 minutes, but if you really need to check your Email, use the internet, it'll do. And the last two times I've used it, the CMs didn't charge me. I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that at the Contemporary, the guy in front of me raised a big stink, "$10! That's b@*#t!" (then stormed out) like the CM herself set the price.

If you download netzero they have like 10 hrs a month free. We always use this when we are on vacation and just need to check our mail or something. You'll need to know a local number (hotel phone number will do).

i know for sure at the moderates & up (not sure if it is offered at the values since i haven't been to one yet). THe resorts charge $9.99/24 hour period. If you login and register it at noon, it'll be good until noon the next day. They charge it to your room.

Besides the resorts, i haven't really seen any kiosks in the parks that have internet access to check email. like another person said, i have seen it at Disney Quest, but that is a virtual reality gaming place - kinda expect some online activity. Inside the innoventions (can't remember which one - east or west?), they did have some areas that had some computers with internet access where you were testing out new computer systems. but, not sure if they still have them.

good luck! :wizard:

If you have a laptop you can always sign up for dial up. Netzero offers two months free, which if you take advantage of just before you leave town means you basically have free dial-up access (phone charges aside).

If you don't have a laptop, you'll need to see if your hotel (you don't say which) has a business center where you can get on-line and check email. When we were at WDW over Easter, my sister-in-law used the Grand Floridian business center (we were at the Poly, which did not have one) and could get on line and could check up on her work email, etc. I do recall that it was rather pricey, but she was expensing it back to her job so it was not a big deal.

Good luck.

That is what we are considering.
We ALMOST bought a laptop, but after discussion, we decided if we hold out a little longer we can probably do better.
My husband HAS to see the Tennesee game saturday night, and it is PPV or you can get it on the computer. So we are thinking of boxing up the moniter, and tossing his tower in the trunk and luggin the whole kit and kaboodle down.... are we nuts!!???!!
