Accessing MDE

I have a Samsung s5 and wasn't planning on downloading any MDE app. When I need to access MDE, I just go through Disney's site in a browser. I can see all of my reservations and fp. Is there a downfall with this plan? Am I missing something by not getting the app (assuming it will even work on my phone)?

I also have a Samsung s5 and have had no problems with the app on my phone. The only difference between the app and browser would just be ease of use wait times, and photo pass. I love the MDE app and have been using it to book fastpasses and dining before my trip.

I just went through on my phone to see what the browser version is like and I definitely like the app better. It opens quickly right to your plans for the entire stay, and it's very easy to navigate and get to the wait times, book last minute fastpasses/dining, and look at photopass.
