There are several types of accessible rooms so it's always helpful to know what you are looking for in a room.
I stayed in 9871 in Building 9 on the 4th floor. You can barely see the pool from the door because trees are in the way but the building extends down closer to the pool and a two minute trip can likely give a good view of those in the pool. I think the other two LM section buildings are dog-friendly though there were several dogs in our building barking for hours on end.
9871 has a king bed, large bathroom, WC sink, toilet with bars, and a tub with lots of bars and handheld showered. The shower chair fit perfectly and was one you sit on outside the tub and slide in. If I were to steal anything at WDW it would be that shower because of how perfect it was and would take that over a roll-in any day.
If you intend to use the bathroom at the LM pool be warned that the floor is as slippery as ice even when dry.
