Accessibility at Clarion Hotel Maingate?

I just wanted to know if anyone has ever stayed or know someone who strayed at the clarion hotel maingate. I have a room booked for jan and want to know how the accessibility is.

We have not stayed there, but the one problem that I know comes up for the off-site resorts is transportation. Some of them have limited numbers of shuttles to get to and from WDW each day. Also some people have reorted that their off-site hotel did not have any acessible shuttles and they needed to make arangements themselves to get to the parks. The last time I saw a post on this was about a year ago, so things might have improved since then.
Hopefully someone can give you a better answer.

I just got back from Orlando (well Kisimmee) and I had a great time. The Clarion Hotel Maingate has a little bit of everything. They have lakeside dining, a poolside bar, workout room, gameroom, and I nwas so happy they actually had internet access in the lobby, although you had to pay for it. The staff is incredibly nice, except watch out for the guest services staff (they work for a timeshare resort NOT the hotel). I have a disability (i use a wheelchair) and I liked their accessibility. They even have a small roll in shower. Not the most accessible but nicely accessible. They have an accessible shuttle to disney also, which is free, but if you need the accessible shuttle you have to give them a day advance notice at guest services. I also found accessible taxi service (checker i believe), just call mears and ask for the taxi division, that you can drive a small electric scooter into (one of the guys didn't strap it down so be careful).
