Access Violation Message??

Hi all! Hoping someone can help me. I wanted to log in tonight to work on my competition room, and I keep getting this message..... Never seen it before...

Does anyone know what happened? Any advice? I've cleared all cookies/temp files... I've restarted my computer several times... I'm getting desperate!

I've gotten it before. I just reboot my pc and log in again with no problem.

I'd try logging in without Pal to see if it is an issue with that on your computer or just a computer issue in general, if you haven't already tried that. Beyond that, I don't know what to tell you. VMK is acting weird for us here tonight also; Mansion three times in a row has crashed our entire internet. Hopefully someone else with more tech knowledge can be of assistance.

I wish it were that easy... I've been rebooting for the past 35 minutes now

I'm running a scan on my computer right now just to see if I have any corrupt files... but other than that I'm lost

And I did try logging in the old-fashioned way through vmk.com... I don't get that message, but I do get the black screen - can't even get a little bit of loading action going on...

Try updating a few things if necessary.
Sometimes I just get a Black Screen and an update with Shockwave does the trick.

Maybe you should try deleting and then reinstalling Shockwave? A couple of times that was the only thing that fixed my log-in issues. Or try logging in with another Internet feature (ex. we have AOL but it's crashing every Mansion game now, so we are trying to see how it works with Firefox).

I did a search of the file name, Netfile.x32 and it seems to be associated with Shockwave.
You may need an update to Shockwave or you may have a bad install and need to uninstall it and do a fresh instal of shockwave

firefox is a good thing to try also if you havent. VMK pal just uses IE so maybe its the plugin for IE that is giving you trouble. It's a good way to help isolate.

I have gotten an error like that before too. But only when I use VMK Pal.
Usually if I just reboot it seems to be fine though.

It is shockwave, I used to get that when I ran IE 6.

U8ninstall both shockwave and flash using the guide on adobe.com
then reinstall first shockwave, then flash and all will be well. You MAY need to uninstall and reinstall Pal too

Well, an hour and a half later, I am finally loading into VMK... sigh

That happened to me when I had a flaky DSL connection. Then I tried and tried to log in. I think the VMK computers thought I was trying to hack in or something. I tried for a good hour. I did something else in the house and came back to my computer about 15 minutes later. Tried to log in and Waa Laa! It worked.

Oh my gosh!! Sooooooooooooooooooo glad I didn't read this last night when I was having problems. I would have had a heart attack!
