Sorry if this has been covered here before...if so, please just send me the link!
DH and I were discussing the treehouses. They look like something our 2 DS's would love! My DH asked how you get to the treehouses and where the parking is for each of them? Also, from where would you pick up Disney transportation to get to the parks?
TIA for your answers!

My understanding is that they will have their own entrance and bus stops. The parking will be adjacent to the units.

Each treehouse will have parking just outside the building. There will be two bus stops in the area for Disney transportation, as well as a boat dock. Word is that boats will run between the Treehouse area and the existing SSR dock, but specifics are still unknown.

The treehouses are walkable from the Carriage House, but it will be a noteworthy walk. If you look at the overview below, the furthest treehouses are about the same distance from the Carriage House as buildings in Congress Park or The Carousel. Figure 10+ minutes at a moderate pace. Bell services can take you over in a cart when you arrive with luggage but you're on your own after that.

I'm already biased toward having a car at Walt Disney World and I think it will be even more of a necessity when staying in the Treehouses. Don't think I would want to walk that distance several times per day to buy food, swim in the main pool, etc.

Thanks for all that info!
One more question...
Will any of them be handicap accessible....specifically will any have ramps or a lift so a wheelchair can get in?

I read in another thread that there is planned a quiet pool for all 60 tree houses.

I am wondering how easy it is to just drive over to the main area of SSR...This means going through security and parking, correct?...How is the parking there?
